Bookcase Plans – From Simple to Complex

December 28th, 2009 Mike

One of my most recent projects was building a new bookcase for my office.  I wanted to make sure it was very sturdy and could withstand the weight of all the books that I’ve collected over the years. Just like with all my other woodworking projects, I needed to get a good set of bookcase plans to follow before I could get started. (Click here to see the plans that I used.)

After having nothing but frustrations with all the free bookcase plans on the internet written by so-called experts, I went to my favorite woodworking forum and asked a few of my friends on there that have built bookcases what plans they recommend using. The majority of people that I asked recommended a site to me called Woodworking 4 Home. I went on over to the site and noticed that you get access to 14,000 different woodworking plans for all sorts of different projects. There was even a good selection of bookcase plans to choose from so I wasn’t stuck with only one design.Everything from simple bookcase plans to more complex ones so you can choose the right plans for your skill level and expertise.

What I liked most about Woodworking 4 Home’s bookcase plans is that they give you very complete instructions. Everything from what tools you will need and which type of lumber is recommended, to what finishers work best for each design. Not to mention that I now had 14,000 different woodworking design plans that I could use for all my future projects. I would never have to spend money on plans again. All in all, I was very impressed with the bookcase plans I got from Woodworking 4 Home.

If you’re looking for professional bookcase plans and access to 14,000 other woodworking designs, I encourage you to check out Woodworking 4 Home. I know you won’t be disappointed.
